(1989) Debut in Shojo Comics with "Pajama de Ojama".
Watase Yuu, a manga artist for Shoujo Comics, started out her career with Pajama de Ojama. With that success, she worked for Shogakukan's Flower Comics and produced three manga titles in addition to Fushigi Yuugi: Shinshunki Miman Okotowari (Not Welcome Before Puberty), its sequel Zoku Shinshunki Miman Okotowari (Not Welcome Before Puberty Continued), both three volumes, and a two volume manga called Epotoransu! Mai. Watase Yuu has also had a number of collections, Gomen Asobase! (Sorry Gentlemen!), Magical Nan, Otenami Haiken (Let's See You Up Close), Suna no Tiara (Tiara of Sand), and Mint de Kiss Me. She is currently very busy working on other manga titles for Shoujo Comics and perhaps we might see them cross-over to anime one day.
