ART DEPARTMENT
Department Head Department Members
The Arts Department offers students the opportunity to grow as creative thinkers and become good problem solvers. We offer arts courses in drama, vocal and instrumental music, as well as visual arts from grades 9 through 12 at the open and university/college levels. At the senior level, we offer learning experiences in focus courses which lend a special focus to the arts subject such as photography courses, computer graphics, stage design in visual arts, drama production in drama and music theatre in music. We have increased opportunities in grade 9 by offering courses in vocal music and drama in addition to instrumental music and visual arts. At the senior level special series visual arts courses offer learning experiences in photography in our dark room and our ever-popular computer graphics program which is now upgraded. Our arts activities showcase our students' talents throughout the school year through art exhibits, dramatic and music performances in the Christmas Show, Coffee House, and Arts Festival. | |
