Sugisaki Yukiru's D.N.Angel manga began its manga run at Asuka Magazine in 1999 and now it's a very hit anime show all throughout the world!!

*Spoiler Alert!*

Niwa Daisuke is thought to be clumsy and short 14 year old guy, who has a crush on the prettiest girl in School, Harada Risa. His mother and grandfater are cheerful, upbeat cultist types who pepper his life with deathtraps and portentous warnings, training him and shaping him for upcoming battles. Daisuke's DNA is part of a long family tradition: on his 14th birthday, he turns into the powerful "phantom theif" Mousy Darkwho hasn't been seen in 40 years, while the family pet turns to a pair of huge dark black wings that attach to his back. Daisuke turns to dark whenever he feels any emotion of love to the girl he likes and he can't revert to his old self not unless Riku is thereor until he steals artwork that have some cursed power and causes troubles for the town and its people. Once the works of art are obtained, their power is sealed by him or his family(either Daisuke's father or mother). Daisuke soon gets jealous of his other half, who's a bit evil and has won the heart of the girl he likes. To make things worse, he can't turn of Dark's gene unless his true love falls in love with him. And fellow student Hiwatari Satoshi not only seem to know Daisuke's secret, but seems to have a secret of his own.
